Workshop
Description:
"Show,
don't Tell" is such a tired cliche that it's lost its meaning. Yet
"showing" and "telling" each has a place within a writer's tool kit.
The idea for this workshop came out of my own analysis of my writing and that of other
writers--and my quest to find the truth in this tired phrase.
The
"telling" part starts the workshop with tips, tricks and techniques to help
improve narrative and identify when it's time to tell your story. The "showing"
part blends in an interactive set of exercises designed to strengthen the writer's
understanding of their own skills and these techniques.
NOTE: This
will be my last online workshop until sometime in 2009.
